This course is held May 31, 2022 through August 11, 2022. Class is Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday evenings from 6-10 PM and alternating Saturdays 8 am - 4 pm. Saturday Dates: June 11, June 25, July 9, July 23, August 6. No Class Wednesday July 5.
There is a mandatory orientation & CPR date on May 24, 2022. This is from 5-10 pm PM.
Upon successful completion of the EMT Course, the National Registry Psychomotor exam will be run on August 13, 2022.

National Registry Psychomotor Exam: Testing Fee: $150 This fee is paid when the student successfully completes the class. Psychomotor exam fee is paid to LCFR.

Text: Emergency care and Transport of Sick and Injured 12th edition- Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured Digital Advantage Package: 9781284243796 (psglearning.com) Can purchase from publisher, or other source. Digital copy is also acceptable but must be accessible during class.
Must be 17 years old with a clean background to be registered for the course. . Proof of hepatitis B, MMR immunization, annual flu vaccination and a current negative TB Skin test is also required. TB Skin test must be current, obtained within 1 year. COVID Vaccination is HIGHLY recommended in order to complete the patient contacts in time.
Down payment of $100 (plus web fees) to hold your seat- and applies to tuition.
Tuition is $980 (plus web fees) and includes Platinum Planner access, Polo shirt, ID Badge, clinical time and online course access. Student must purchase textbook and bring to the first day of class.
Some assignments will be done outside of class in addition to reading and study time. Students must obtain 10 patient contacts, this is scheduled in addition to course time, ride alongs offered at local and area fire departments and ER facilities. Timely Documentation in Platinum Planner is mandatory. This is scheduled through the course. COVID Vaccination is Required for clinical time at the hospital. Clinicals at the hospital is the primary source for patient contacts for this course.
Attendance is mandatory, students also must remain in good standing academically, passing each exam.
