This course is held Tuesday and Thursday Evenings 6-10 p.m and Saturdays February 10, March 9, April 13, & May 11 from 0800-1430. The NREMT Psychomotor exam will follow at a date TBD.

 A Valid, current EMT License and BLS Provider CPR Card are required for acceptance into this course. A clean background is also required to be registered for the course.  Proof of hepatitis B immunization, annual flu vaccination and a current negative TB Skin test is required. 


This course is 120 hours in class with 50+ hours required in clinical and additional study time in order to complete. Some content is completed online ONLY with assignments due in Canvas. Participants should plan on spending significant time studying and completing clinical skills outside of class hours.


.Tuition is $1550 (plus web fees) and includes EMSTesting access, Polo shirt, clinical time and online course access. Down payment of $100 (plus web fees) to hold your seat- and applies to tuition. This is non refundable

  • National Registry Psychomotor Exam Testing Fee: $150 This fee is paid when the student successfully completes the class.  Psychomotor exam fee is paid to LCFR.

There is the expectation that the student will spend extensive time outside of class studying and reading the material.

Some assignments will be done outside of class in addition to reading and study time.   Students must obtain specific lab skills and assessments as outlined by the State of Wisconsin in order to be successful. These EMS Experiences offered at area departments and clinicals at Aurora Summit.

Dates:

This course is held June 4, 2023, through August 10, 2024.

Class is Tuesday, Wednesday Thursdays from 0800-1500 with a short break around 4th of July.

There is a mandatory orientation & CPR date on May 28, 2024. This is from 5-10 pm PM.

This course requires time spent outside of class doing reading, assignments and clinicals. Various assignments will be due Mondays of each week with exams each Thursday afternoon.

Upon successful completion of the EMT Course, the National Registry Psychomotor exam will be run on August 16/17, 2024 - Your exam time may be during the day/afternoon! Cognitive exam is scheduled on your own after this.

 INVESTMENT:

Tuition is $1090 (plus web fees). This includes Platinum Planner access, Polo shirt, clinical time and online course access. Student must purchase textbook (Additional cost) and bring to the first day of class.

This course will be offered on Wednesday Evenings and will meet National Registry NCCP required components for NREMT P renewal in Wisconsin and National Registry.

This course utilizes the ASHI curriculum and meets requirements for the scouting high adventure camps. The first half is lecture based and the second half is hands on to practice scenarios and skills. This course is 10 hours long and held at the Training Center- N44W32787 Rasmus Road Nashotah WI

We are offering a Healthcare provider CPR course on September 26, 2021 at 6 p.m. Anyone in need of CPR Certification is welcome to register however this is geared for those attending Wilderness First Aid with our training center.

For those taking Wilderness First Aid - If you do not have a current Healthcare provider CPR card at time of the Wilderness First Aid course, you will need to obtain it prior. American Heart Association or Red Cross certifications are accepted.

WFA Course comes with access to a digital textbook at course completion as well as an emailed certification card. If you wish to have a student textbook in hand for the course, please purchase it now. Orders must be placed 2 weeks in advanced for a text to be guaranteed here. Textbooks are an additional fee of $20.50. Course only is $95 plus fees.

This course is held June 14, 2021 through August 5, 2021. Class is Monday - Thursdays 8 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. There is a mandatory orientation & CPR date on June 7, 2021 at 5 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Upon successful completion of the EMT Course, the National Registry Psychomotor exam is August 14, 2021. Your specific time will be assigned as it gets closer. This Exam cost is not covered in tuition and will be $150 the day of the exam.

 

Additional Fees:

  • National Registry Psychomotor Exam: Testing Fee: $150 This fee is paid when the student successfully completes the class. Psychomotor exam fee is paid to LCFR.

  • Cognitive exam: fee is paid to National Registry when applying for the exam, this fee is $80. More information here: https://www.nremt.org/rwd/public/document/emt

  • Text: Emergency care and Transport of Sick and Injured 11th edition- ISBN 9781284080179. Navigate2 access & student workbook is optional. Cost varies.

Must be 17 years old with a clean background to be registered for the course. Proof of hepatitis B immunization, annual flu vaccination and a current negative TB Skin test is required. TB Skin test must be current, obtained within 1 year.

Down payment of $100 (plus web fees) to hold your seat- and applies to tuition.

Tuition is $980 (plus web fees) and includes EMSTesting access, Polo shirt, ID Badge, clinical time and online course access. Student must purchase textbook and bring to the first day of class.

Some assignments will be done outside of class in addition to reading and study time. Students must obtain 10 patient contacts, this is scheduled in addition to course time, ride alongs offered at local and area fire departments and ER facilities. Class is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays from 6-10 p.m. and alternating Saturdays from 8a.m. to 4p.m. Saturday dates: 6/12, 6/26, 7/10, 7/24, 8/7.
