Summer EVENING EMT 2023

Dates:

This course is held May 30, 2023 through August 10, 2023.

Class is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings from 5:30-9:30 PM and Saturday July 15 0800-1500. No class July 3 or 4.

There is a mandatory orientation & CPR date on May 23, 2023. This is from 5-10 pm PM.

Upon successful completion of the EMT Course, the National Registry Psychomotor exam will be run on August 11, 2023 - Your exam time may be during the day/afternoon! Cognitive exam is scheduled on your own after this.

 INVESTMENT:

Tuition is $1090 (plus web fees). This includes Platinum Planner access, Polo shirt, clinical time and online course access. Student must purchase textbook (Additional cost) and bring to the first day of class.

Down payment of $100 (plus web fees) to hold your seat- and applies to tuition. Downpayment is non refundable.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Must be 17 years old with a clean background to be registered for the course. . Proof of hepatitis B, MMR immunization, annual flu vaccination and a current negative TB Skin test is also required. TB Skin test must be current, obtained within 1 year. COVID Vaccination is HIGHLY recommended in order to complete the patient contacts in time.

This form will be completed and due the first week of class, feel free to download and start completing it now


Some assignments will be done outside of class in addition to reading and study time. Students must obtain 10 patient contacts, this is scheduled in addition to course time, ride alongs offered at local and area fire departments and ER facilities. Timely Documentation in Platinum Planner is mandatory. This is scheduled through the course. COVID Vaccination is Required for clinical time at the hospital. Clinicals at the hospital is the primary source for patient contacts for this course.


Attendance is mandatory, students also must remain in good standing academically, passing each exam in order to remain in the program and be eligible for National Registry testing/State licensure.
