NASHOTAH EMT-Basic course SPRING 2026
Dates:
This course is held from January 19th to May 15th
Class is Monday thru Thursday from 9am to 1pm
There will be no in person class the following dates: 1/29, 2/4, 2/5, 2/10, 2/11, 2/16, 2/17, 2/23, 3/12, 3/18, 3/19, 3/24, 3/25, 3/30, 3/31, 4/16, 4/23, 4/29, 4/30
There is a mandatory orientation & CPR date on the first day of class.
Upon successful completion of the EMT Course, you will take the National Registry Psychomotor exam on May 15th. Your exam time may be during the morning or afternoon. Cognitive exam is scheduled on your own after that.
INVESTMENT:
Tuition is $1200 (plus web fees). This includes Platinum Planner access, clinical time, and online course access. Student must purchase textbook (additional cost) and bring to the first day of class.
Down payment of $250 (plus web fees) to hold your seat- and applies to tuition. Downpayment is non-refundable. Course must be paid in full by the first day of class.
Additional Fees:
National Registry Psychomotor Exam: Testing Fee: $158 This fee is paid when the student successfully completes the class. Psychomotor exam fee is paid to LCFR.
Cognitive exam: fee is paid to National Registry when applying for the exam, this fee is $104. More information here: NREMT Website

Digital copy is also acceptable but must be accessible during class.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Must be 17 years old with a CLEAN background to be registered for the course. Proof of Hepatitis B, MMR immunization, annual flu vaccination and a current negative TB Skin test is also REQUIRED. TB Skin test must be current, obtained within 1 year.

Attendance is mandatory, students also must remain in good standing academically, passing each exam in order to remain in the program and be eligible for National Registry testing/State licensure.
